Donna

Prior to her venture into the bakery world as the pastry chef / cake designer for Delicious Arts, Donna earned a B.A. in Visual Arts at the University of California, San Diego. As the pastry chef/cake designer, Donna applies the classic pastry making techniques she learned at Le Cordon Bleu Los Angeles to her products, as well as Cake Techniques and Design skills she obtained from The French Culinary Institute (New York City) and Entremets & Petits Gateaux at The French Pastry School, Chicago, with Chef Franck Michel, M.O.F., Champion of Pastry World Cup 2006.

In addition to her culinary experience, Donna earned an opportunity to intern at The French Laundry, where she was immersed in the finesse of dessert making. Donna is dedicated to serving her clients by crafting pastries and desserts that are as delicious as they are beautifully presented.

intro

Established in 2012, Delicious Arts LLC is a by-appointment-only custom cake design studio making custom cakes and cupcakes for weddings, birthdays, baby showers, and corporate events.

With a "not too sweet" motto, and the insistence on using real butter, no shortening, no cake mixes, and no artificial flavoring, Delicious Arts has earned a following for our moist cakes paired with melt-in-your-mouth Swiss meringue butter cream.

In December 2014, we've expanded into a more spacious bakery in Rancho Park area of West Los Angeles at 10581 ½ W. Pico Blvd. (Right in the middle of Century City, Culver City, Beverley Hills, Westwood, Santa Monica, Hollywood, Sawtelle, and Brentwood)
